PHP: hypertext preprocessor (or simple php) was originally created by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1994. It's a general-purpose programming language design for web development.
Because of it power in terms of security, it's mainly used to perform server side scripting. Security is the most common feature in php scripting. When you prepare statement and compile in php it will output the posible results only and ignore or hide the script it self. Example
$i = 3;
$x = 2;
$answer = $i+$x;
|OUTPUT : 5|
When you observe the above example, our output is 5 in all. The variables and operators were ignored by the compiler and that makes php powerful in terms of security.
It is a good style to put each statement in a seperate line and put blank space between them. This practice is known as whitespace.
Whitespace is programmer-speak for blank-looking characters such as space, tap and newline.
